Business Transformation and Program Delivery Leader, Kim Wineland joins TAG CXO

Wineland brings clients extensive business transformation and program delivery expertise

PHOENIX, Ariz., March 29th, 2023 – To support its team of fractional executives and help clients deploy new technologies, TAG CXO has added Kim Wineland, a seasoned business transformation and program delivery expert, as the company’s new Program Delivery practice lead. Wineland is available for both consulting and fractional support.

With more than 20 years of business transformation and program management background behind her, Wineland has spearheaded dozens of technology implementations across a wide spectrum of functions, including ERP, point-of-sale and human capital management systems, as well as cloud-based applications. Along with comprehensive systems and business knowledge, Wineland has spent the past several years as a consultant. Among the industries she has served are retail, hospitality, food and beverage, manufacturing, and health care.

Prior to launching her own consulting practice, Wineland spent 12 years working her way up the corporate ladder at PetSmart. In her final position with the firm, Wineland supervised a staff of 10 and was a key strategic leader in the management of a $390 million corporate operating budget. As a leader of the company’s financial compliance initiatives and procurement roadmaps, she saved her organization more than $20 million in capital and expenses.

Among her accomplishments, Wineland counts leadership of a major digital program that helped an organization increase online sales by some 30%. She also helped another organization increase its return on investment by $5 million with the deployment of SaaS applications. For multiple firms, she’s served as a business transformation leader and program manager for both deployments and upgrades of transformative systems.

“Regardless of the industry you’re in, technology must serve the business and the end users,” Wineland said. “I am fiercely devoted to getting results for my client. The whole point of implementing new systems is to enhance organizational performance. That takes more than a technical upgrade. It takes effective change management, too.”

“Kim has everything it takes to be an agent of change,” said Paul Theisen, founder and principal of TAG CXO. “She understands technology, best practices and how to drive an initiative from start to finish. Her boundless energy and strong leadership skills make her an asset to any firm lucky enough to have her on board.”
